Bitumen Hot Mix refers to a mixture of bitumen (also known as asphalt) and aggregates (such as sand, gravel, or crushed stone) that is heated and mixed together to form a hot mix asphalt (HMA). This mixture is used in various road construction and repair applications, such as the construction of roads, highways, parking lots, and pavements. The term "hot mix" refers to the fact that the bitumen is heated to a high temperature, typically between 150°C to 180°C (302°F to 356°F), before being mixed with aggregates.
